Cherry Sour is a blend of cherry beer and sour ale, brewed with spontaneous fermentation, which produces lactic acid, which makes the beer fresh and sour. The cherries also have a slightly sweet taste. A trip from ‘t IJ to a style that we have not discussed much until now, but which actually fits very well with this brewery, which in its first years even brewed exclusively Belgian-style beers.
