Brouwerij ‘t IJ and Brandt & Levie brew sausage together. Today we are launching a dry sausage together with the sausage makers Brandt and Levie.
This dry sausage is the result of a long-awaited collaboration between the two businesses, who share deep Amsterdam roots. The sausage, made from well kept pork, is combined with smoked malt and ‘t IJ’s Session IPA and was developed by Jiri Brandt (Brandt & Levie) and our head brewer Tjalling Landman. The hoppy bitters and citrus notes of the Session IPA are emphasized by the smoked malt to combine into a perfectly brewed sausage.
Brandt & Levie regularly joins forces with the people and brands that inspire them. Together, they unleash their creativity in the Brandt & Levie kitchen, resulting in exceptionally tasty sausages. They have published collaborations with Jonnie Boer, Joris Bijdendijk, the world famous Italian butcher Dario Cecchini and the Scottish whisky brand Laphroaig. The Brouwerij ‘t IJ sausages will be temporarily available in shops from July 17th and will be on the menu at brewpub De Molen.
