Who are the people that drink our beer? We asked some of them on our terrace.
Riccardo is about to return to Italy after living in Amsterdam for three years so this is his last glass of beer with Davion for now. They know each other from work, an organisation with the noble mission to make companies in Amsterdams financial centre more sustainable. “Little complicated”, says Davion who rather discusses the joys of life. He has been around for thirteen years now and when he speaks about beer, his Dutch hardly betrays his American origins. He doesn’t exactly live around the corner but he is happy to cycle all over town for a glass of Zatte. “Just doesn’t as good elsewhere.”
Riccardo prefers to watch the crowd over a Zatte too. “I like the diversity of people here”, he says.”You’ve got expats, locals, students…” Davion concludes with another attempt to nail what attracts them: “It just has the vibe!”
