Centennial Session Ale 't IJ Amsterdam

New beer: Centennial Session Ale

Anticipating summer we have been brewing a few thirst quenching beers that could keep people happy for ages on our sunny terrace. So after the Solij, a refreshing maize lager, we now introduce another light and fresh option.

The Centennial Session Ale is the latest addition to our line of one-off, single hop session ales. Its name derives from the hop variety, which endows this beer with a pleasant amount of citrus. During the dryhop, we smuggled in a bit of Simcoe hop. The latter is responsible for this beer’s softer side and a touch of passion fruit.

All in all, quite a bit of taste in low abv beer (3% only). A couple of sunny days will probably finish this beer as we only brewed 2000 litres of it. Exclusively in our very own pub. Be quick to come and grab one as soon as the sun is out.
