Up close: Pasqual

Who are the people that drink our beer? We asked some of them in our tasting room.

Social worker Pasqual has been visiting us for almost twenty years. While he does get nostalgic about the days when our bar underneath the windmill was still a relatively unknown part of Amsterdam he does keep returning. Why? “When I first got here I met a couple of people that I like a lot and I really like the beer, in that order.” The beer got better in those past twenty years, Pasqual thinks, the quality more stable. “Sometimes it used to taste great and then the next batch would taste like rancid butter.” Pasqual has a good laugh about that now. “Oh well, that had its charm too.”
