Due to the great weather and the crowds at our bar we practically ran out of our beer supply.

We are doing our best to brew as much as possible, for the bar, and we will raise our production capacity again.

At this moment wit means we might not always have all our beers from the tap.

Also we won’t be filling any kegs for our bar clients, these coming weeks.

We hope to solve this problem as soon as possible.

From April on we’ll also offer free tours on Sunday, at 16h.

These tours are for the solo-traveler or very small groups.

Please inform our staff at the bar that would like to participate in the tour that afternoon.

Of course we kept some for ourselves to serve you in the Proeflokaal. Come and get it while it’s here!

Vlo is only available in bottles at the Bierkoning, on the Paleisstraat and from tap in our pub.

We are very pleased to announce that two of the nicest pubs in the Jordaan now serve our beer from tap.
Café ‘t Smalle is typical old Dutch café (no music) located right across Anne Franks.
Café Thijssen is a much bigger bar where you can have applepie and broodjes during the daytime.
At night Thijssen becomes very lively. ‘t Smalle will be serving our Zatte. Thijssen will change from Columbus to Paasij at the end of Febuary.

Well known (beer)café is now also serving Columbus, from Tap. Hesp’s got a magnificent terras alongside the Amstel and is always a crowded and fun spot, to have a beer.

Beware, when who have your beer on this new terrace, that we have to leave enough space for pedestrians. Also, the Stadsdeel-Centrum will punish us severely if people stand on this terrace (or in the street and on the waterside!)
